Any indicator, but mostly u use to universal indicator

tannudeswal84: You attempted well but I just wanted to highlight the fact that indicators only tell us about the acidic,basic or neutral character of a solution (not the pH of any solution)

Ways to measure pH of any substance (say water) are:

1.by finding the strength of H+ and OH- ions in the solution

2.by using universal indicator
