It is a term used in signal processing.

Aliasing is the phenomenon of output signal slowly changing, independent of the measured property.

When a system is not measured in a proper way, Aliasing of output signal occurs.

It is result of an error in sampling at a very slow speed which gives a wrong frequency to the reader.

If the output signal slowly changes independent of the measured property, this is defined as drift.
