The Prayer for Strength indeed has a universal appeal. The prayer of the poet to God to end the poverty of his heart, to give him strength to bear joys and sorrows, to serve his fellow brethren and sisters lovingly, to accept the poor and the courage to face arrogance of the mighty, to rise above the petty things of life, and to surrender himself to His will are the supplications of each and every person living on the planet.

If all of us live with this prayer on our lips, the world will become a paradise.
