This line has been taken from "The sower".
In this poem, it has been shown that the sower has been working really a lot so that he can reach to the supreme position and that is why, the mention of August Personality has been made.
Thus is an example of hard work. He has been working even after his working duration is over, i.e. he is engaged in over time work.
Here his efforts have been compared to the crops that are sown and grown by farmers.
The sower has been doing his part of work, in order to achieve success because of all of the hard work.
So, he has been working continuously and this is an example of hard work, dedication and perseverance, that he is involved in.
