Written by poet, freedom fighter, Indian politician - Sarojini Naidu (1879 - 1949), 'In the Bazaars of Hyderabad' is a colourful yet realistic perspective of the Indian market, rich with traditional goods and products of India.

It is a subtle message to use Indian goods instead of foreign ones, during the Swadeshi Movement.

From beautiful and lustrous tunics, turbans, mirrors, jewellery and perfumes to saffron, lentils and rice, to the wholesome fruits available in the market, Sarojini Naidu brings out the goodness of Indian products.
