The peom shows a dilemma between the voice of education and the inner soul of the poet.

The poet was fascinated by the movement of the snake ,while he was tortured by the voices of human education which constatnly forced him to kill the snake. As a result he threw a waterlog at the snake, and immediately regretted his action. The snake had not harmed him so he shouldnt have hit the snake. He needs to respect and love the creation of god.

thumbs up;)
