Hey there buddy!

Here are the poetic devices used in the poem frog and the nightingale:

1) alliteration- "bingle bog, crass cacophony, neither stones nor prayers nor sticks, one night a nightingale, toads and teals and toddlers, next night, twitched her tail, too bad- but, now the nightingale inspired, scarf and sash, she was shivering, subdued and sleep deprived," are some examples of alliteration from the poem.

2) metaphor- "this is a fairy tale, and you're a Mozart in disguise"

The above line is also an example of allusion, since the frog is being referred to as Mozart, a great musician.

3) repetition- " koo-oh-ah! Ko-ash! Ko-ash!"

4) onomatopoeia - "koo-oh-ah! Ko-ash! Ko-ash!, Twittering"

5) antithesis-"up and down the scale, sweet and bitter"

6) allusion- " you're a Mozart in disguise, owl of sandwich, duck of Kent...coot of Monte Cristo"

Hope you find the answer useful!
