the point a(4 -2) b(7 2) ,C(0,9) and d (-3,5) form a parallelogram. find the length of altitude of parallelogram on base AB

divide the parallelogram into 2 triangle by drawing its diagonal and the find the area of those two triangles and thwn add them up to get the area of the parallelogram. also there is a formula for area of parallelogram i.e. , area of parallelogram= base X height.
then equate theae two to get the height. :-)

Since the points are given find the area of the parallelogram then find the length of AB i.e 4cm using distance formula then use the formula AB*h=area of parallelogram. Hence find h i.e altitude
