(5,0)=(x2,y2)

if the ratio is m:n,

the joining points will be

x =  \frac{(mx1) + (nx2)}{m + n} \\ y =  \frac{(my2) + (ny1)}{m + n} \\ so   \\ x =  \frac{(2 \times 0) + (3 \times 5)}{2 + 3}  \\ y =  \frac{(2 \times 3) \times + (3 \times 0)}{2 + 3}  \\ x =  \frac{15}{5}  = 3 \\ y =  \frac{10}{5}  = 2
