          =  √(-8)²

          = √64

          = 8

BC= √(15-0)² + (0-0)²   (Using same formula)

          = √225

          =  15

         

CA = √(15-0)² + (8-0)²  (Using same formula)

     =  √225 + 64

      =  √289

      = 17

Check the equality :  ->  AB² + BC² = CA²

                                         8²    +   15² =  17²

                                        64    +    225 = 289 -> CA²

So as this equality turned out to be true the answer is true........
