The points A(4 -2) ,B(7 2),C(0,9) and D(-3,5) forms a parallelogram.Find the length of altitude of parallelogram on the base AB

Perimeter= 100 cm

Perimeter= 4 × side

Therefore, 100= 4s

s=100/4 = 25

Area of square = side2

= 25 2

= 625 cm 2

Let the height be h

Base of parallelogram = 50 cm

By given data,

625 = 50h

h= 625/50= 12.5

Therefore altitude = 12.5 cm
