So the population after 3 yrs will be 1000*3 +20000= 23000

2.

P=1200000

R=4%

4% of 1200000

4*1200000/100

=48000

After 2 yrs the population would be 48k*2=96k

P=21,000

5% of 21,000

5*21000/100

The value was depriciated by Rs 1050

So the value of the machine after 1 ye will be 21000-1050=₹19050
