Here is your solutions
Given :-
The population of a country in the year 2004 was 50,000.
if the population is reducing by 24 thousand per year
To find population of a country in the year 2006 :-
in 1 year decrease of population = 24000
then
in 2 years decrease of population = 2×24000 = 48000.
population of 2004 was 50000 .after 2 years
then in 2006 population will be .
=>50000-48000
=> 2,000
hence
Total population of a country in the year 2006 is 2000.
Hope it helps you.

Given =>
Population of a country in 2004 = 50,000.
It reduces by 24,000 per year.
To find =>
Population of the country in 2006.
Solution =>
As population decreases by 24,000 per year ,
In 2 years span ,
It reduces by
2 × 24,000 = 48,000
Thus,
Population reduces by 48,000 in 2 years.
Hence,
We can say that ,
If the population in 2004 was 50,000,
After 2 years, ( in 2006 ) ,it will be -
50,000 - 48,000
= 2,000
Thus,
Population of the country in 2006 will be 2000.
Thanks!!
