The population of a time at present is 37380 and this is 5% more than it was one year ago. What was its population that year?

it means that37380 is the value of 105%
so 105=37380 we have to find value of 100 %.
105/21=37380/21
5=1780
5X20,=1780X20
100%=35600
thus population was 35600 that year
