let the population after 2 yrs be x
present population =16000=p
increasing rate = 5% per annum = r
time = 2 yrs =t
therefore,
x = p(1+r/100)^t
x = 16000×(1+5/100)^2
x = 16000×105/100×105/100
x = 17640
hence the population after 2 yrs will be 17640
present population =16000=p
increasing rate = 5% per annum = r
time = 2 yrs =t
therefore,
x = p(1+r/100)^t
x = 16000×(1+5/100)^2
x = 16000×105/100×105/100
x = 17640
hence the population after 2 yrs will be 17640
