Given that the population earlier was = 24500
Population now = 25000

So, Increase in population = 25000 - 24500 = 500

We know that,
Percentage increase in population= Changed population/original population *100

⇒ 500 / 24500 * 100
⇒ 500/245
⇒ 2.04%

Hey there! ☺☻☺

Increase = 25000 - 24500 = 500

Now,
Increase % = increase/ original value * 100
                   = 500/24500 * 100
                   = 2.04

Hope It Helps You! ☺☻☺
