let the population of females be x.
the population of males = 5500 - x

acc to the question,
111(5500-x)/100 + 120x/100 = 6330
or, 111(5500-x) + 120x = 633000
or, 610500 - 111x + 120x = 633000
or, 9x = 633000 - 610500
or, x = 22500/9
or, x = 2500

Number of female population is 2500.

Answer:

Total increase 6300 - 5500 = 830

males = 11 %

females = 20 % = 11 % + 9 %

11 % of 5500 = 605

so

9 % of females = 830 - 605

                         =  (225/9) * 100 = 2500
