Solution

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

The population is increasing @ 10% p.a

The current population is 10,000

Then, firstly we have to find the population of 1st year that is,

                             = 10,000 + (\frac{10}{100}\times 10,000)

                             = 11,000

Then, we have to find the population of 2nd year that is,

                            = 11,000 + (\frac{10}{100}\times 11,000)

                            =12,100

Finally, we have to find the population of 3rd year that is,

                            = 12,100 + (\frac{10}{100}\times 12,100)

                            =13,310

So, the population after third year is 13,310.
