The ‘Postal Highway Project’, for which Government of India is providing financial support, is located in the neighbouring Hindu state of NEPAL.

The Government of India has released in August 2018 an additional amount of Rs. 470 million (Nepali) for Phase I of Postal Highway Project. This will aid in maintenance of fund liquidity for the ongoing construction of 14 road packages under Postal Highway Project in Southern Plains of Nepal.
