no i dont agree with the statement because ali was not a pest at all .for five yrs he had come to the postoffice daily to see if there was a letter for him frm his daughter miriam then for several days he did not come due to poor health. the postmaster lacked compassion and sympathy. ali was in a hurry and did not want to be stopped by anyone. when ali came and asked postmaster if a letter had arrived for him the postmaster was rude and called him a pest . the postmaster did not relate to the pain and anguish of ali.
