Answer:-

 R = 3.8 \Omega \\ P = 12,760 w

Given :-

P = 220 v

I = 58 A

To find :-

The power and resistance of the electric iron .

Solution:-

Let the resistance of the electric iron be R.

Then by Ohm's law :-

 \huge \boxed{V = IR}

Put the given value,

 220 = 58 \times R

 R = \dfrac{220}{58}

 R = 3.8 \Omega

Now,

Power is given by :-

 \huge \boxed {P = VI}

 P = 220 \times 58

 P = 12,760 w

hence ,

The power of electric iron will be 12,760 w.

ANSWER:-

p=220v

i=58A

TO FIND:-

The power and resistance of the electric wire

THEN BY USING OHM'S LAW:-

V=IR

220=58 × R

220 = 58R

R = 3.79

R = 3.8 approx

Formula

P = VI

P = 220 × 58

P = 12760
