Let the length of rectangle be 3x and breadth be 2x.

Perimeter of rectangle is = 2(3x+2x)= 10x

Given Perimeter of square is 120m

Perimeter of rectangle is 60m.

Equating 10x= 60, we get x= 6.

Breadth of rectangle is 12m.

Hey there!!!

Here is the solution
===================

Given:-

Perimeter of square is double that of rectangle

Let perimeter of square be x and perimeter of rectangle be y

then,

X = 2Y_(1)

given :- X = 120m

put this in eq(1)

120 = 2Y

Y = 60m

Now , we have to find breadth of rectangle..

length and breadth of rectangle are in the ratio 3:2

we can take it as 3a and 2a

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

60 = 2(3a+2a)

60 = 10a

a = 6m

breadth is = 2a = 2×6 = 12m

Hope it helps you out✔✔
