ANSWER:

The contamination of water body means spoilage of quality of water which can be done by microorganisms gradually. The bacteria which is more responsible for this effect is E. Coli and coliform. These bacteria’s also get in large numbers within few days because of having a great potential to produce next generation.

EXPLANATION:

• The bacteria’s stated above are the example of Gram negative bacteria’s.
• They can be of rod shaped. In a contaminated pond the aquatic life gets totally imbalanced.
• The other aquatic biodiversity like fish’s turtle and other aquatic plants does not get much nutrient and food from the pond.
• Also the water from the contamination pond is not good for uses for the humans for the activities like cooking, bathing, etc.
