let the present age of boy be x
then the present age of father will be 6x
after 5 years
there ages
son=x+5
father=6x+5
according to question
x+5+6x+5=45
7x+10=45
7x=35
x=5
hence there present ages are:
son=5years
father=6x=6*5=30 years
