Let father's present age be x yrs.
Let his son's present age be y yrs.
A/Q, x = 3 + 3y
x - 3y = 3 ..... (1)

After 3 years, x +3 = 10 + 2(y+3)
x + 3 = 10 + 2y +6
x -2y = 10+6 - 3
x - 2y = 13 .... (2)
Solving the pair of linear equations, by elimination

x -3y = 3
x - 2y = 13
- + -
---------------------
-y = -10
y = 10
This gives, x = 33

So, father's present age is 33 yrs
His son's present age is 10 yrs
