In your question, the sum should be 34 years ... so I have corrected that

Kumar Mother's age | KUMAR Age

3 x | x

After 3 years ___

x+3 = 3x +3

x+3+3x+3 = 34

4x + 6 = 34

x = 28/4 = 7

present age of his mother is 21 and sahil is 7 years

 \large\mathfrak \pink{Solution:-}

 \underline \mathbb{GIVEN:-}

★The present age of Kumar's mother is three times of the present age of Kumar.

★After 3 years their ages will add to 35 years.

 \underline \mathbb{TO  \: FIND:-}

Their present ages.

  \underline \mathbb{ASSUMPTION:-}

Let, the number be x.

Let, the present age of Kumar be x years

and the present age of his mother be 3x years.

So, after 3 years

Age of Kumar =( x + 3 ) years

And age of his mother =( 3x + 3) years

 \underline \mathbb{BY  \: THE  \: PROBLEM:-}

( x + 3 ) + ( 3x + 3) = 35 \\  \\  \implies \: 4x  + 6 = 35 \\  \\  \implies \: 4x = 35 - 6\\  \\  \implies \: 4x = 29\\  \\  \implies \: x =  \frac{29}{4} \\  \\  \implies \: x = 7.25

\underline \mathbb{ANSWER:-}

Present age of Kumar = x = 7.25 years.

Present age of his mother = 3x = 3 × 7.25 = 21.75 years.
