the present age of seeta and geeta are inratio 3:4. the product of their ages (in year) is 48. find the sum of their ages

let age of sita be 3x and Geeta be 4x then,atq, 3x x 4x=48 so,12x=48 then,x=4. so 3x=12&4x=16 so 3x+4x=28

3x*4x=48
12x=48
x=4
age of geeta=3x=3*4=12
age of seeta=4x=4*4=16
