x=2y

(x+7)+(y+7)=68

lets put value of x in terms of y

now

2y+7+y+7=68

3y=68-14

3y=54

y=18

pooja's current age is 18

now we know that

x=2y

x= 2× 18

x=36

nitin's age is 36
