Answer :-

Let present age of "A" be 7x , and

Present age of "B" be 5x.

After 10 years ,

Age of A = 10 + 7x

Age of B = 10 + 5x

According to question :-

=) 10 + 7x = 9x

=) 10 = 9x - 7x

=) 10 = 2x

=) x = 5

Also, 10 + 5x = 7x

=) 10 = 7x - 5x

=) 10 = 2x

=) x = 5

So, the value of x is 5.

Present age of A = 7x

= 7 × 5 = 35

= 35 Years

Present age of B = 5x

= 5 × 5 = 25

= 25 Years

So, the present ages of A & B are 35 & 25 years.

According to the given condition we get,

Therefore,

The age of A will be

10 + 7x = 9x ---(1)

The age of B will be

10 + 5x = 7x ---(2)

Solving equation (1)

10 + 7x = 9x

10 = 9x - 7x

10 = 2x

x = 10/2

x = 5

Solving equation (2)

10 + 5x = 7x

10 = 7x - 5x

10 = 2x

x = 10/2

x = 5

Substituting the value of x = 5 to get the present age of A and B

The present age of A = 7x

The present age of B = 5x

25 years

Therefore, The present age of A = 35 and B = 25 year.
