Solution :

Given,
age ratio of rohit and mayank = 11:8

Let,
rohit age = 11x years
mayank age = 8x years

[ According to the question ]
After 8 years sum of their ages will be 54

So,

rohit age after 8 years = (11x+8) years
mayank age after 8 years = (8x+8) years

Now,

(11x+8) + (8x+8) = 54

=> 11x + 8x + 8 + 8 = 54

=> 19x + 16 = 54

=> 19x = 54 - 16

=> 19x = 38

=> x = 38/19

=> x = 2

Hence, value of x = 2

Therefore,
rohit age = (11x + 8) = (11*2 + 8) = 30 years
mayank age = (8x + 8) = (8*2 + 8) = 24 years

Hence, the present age of
rohit = 30 years
and mayank = 24 years.

Let Rohan's current  age be = 11x

hence, Mayank's current age = 8x

Acc to the question ,

(11x + 8) + (8x + 8) = 54

11x + 8 + 8x + 8 = 54

19x + 16 = 54

19x = 54 - 16

19x = 38

x = 38/19

x = 2

Hence,

Rohan's present age = 11x =11×2=22

Mayank's present age = 8x = 8×2= 16
