Answer:-

Present ages of the man = 50 years.

Explanation:-

Average age of man and his twin sons = 30

Ratio of father and one son = 5 : 2

Therefore we can take their ages  as  x

Total age of three  = 30 x 3 = 90 yr

Ratio of father and one son = 5 : 2

Ratio of father and both the sons = 5 : 2 : 2

⇒ 5x + 2x +2x = 90

⇒ 9x = 90

⇒ x = 10

Present age of the man = 5 × 10 = 50 years.

Present age of the sons = 2 × 10 = 20 years (both sons)
