I guess they asked population after 2 years

Present population of the town = 200000

Let's assume that 200000 is 100%

Increase in first year = 100+10 = 110 %

Population in first year = 110/100 × 200000 = 220000

Increase in second year = 100 + 15 = 115

Population in second year = 115/100 × 200000 = 230000

Total population after 2 years = 220000+230000=450000

Therefore population after 2 years = 450000
