let the population in the beginning was100.

people who died = 4%

remaining people =

100 - (4\% \times 100 )\\ 100 - 4\% \times 100 \\ 100 - \frac{4}{100} \times 100 \\ 100 - 4 \\ 96

people who left village = 3% of the remaining

final remaining after 3% leaving the village

96 - 3/100 × 96

96 - 3/25 × 24

96 - 72/25

(2400 - 72)/25

2328/25

the present population is 2328/25 when old is 100

the present population is 1 when old is 100/2328/25 = 100 × 25/2328

the present population is 151320 when old is

100 \times \frac{25}{2328} \times 151320 \\ 100 \times 25 \times 65 \\ 100 \times 1625 \\ 162500

hope it helps u
