The pressure in a bicycle tire is 1.34 atm at 33.0°C. At what temperature will the pressure inside the tire be 1.60 atm if volume is constant?

Answer: Since the pressure and temperature is given and volume is constant, we use Charles' law

P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2

Hence, T2 = P2T1/P1

            T = 1.60 atm x (273.15 K + 33)/1.34 atm
