The pressure of a fixed mass of a gas st a temperature of 0° is doubled while the volume is halved. What will be the final temperature of the gas?​

Explanation:

Using Ideal gas equation,  number of moles of gas   n=RTPV

New pressure  P′=2P

New temperature  T′=2T

New volume  V′=V/2

Thus number of moles of gas   n′=RT′P′V′

∴  n′=R(2T)(2P)(V/2)=2n
