The pressure of a gas contained in a cylinder with a movable piston is 1500 Pascal. The area of the piston is 0.25 cm2 .Calculate the force exerted on the piston.

Pressure = 1500 P
Area = 0.25 cm^2 = 25*10^-6 m^2
Force = pressure/area
= 1500/25*10^-6
= 15*10^8/25
= 60*10^6
= 60000000.

Given term ,
pressure = 1500 Pascal
area = 0.25 cm^2
=0.25/(100×100) m^2
=0.25/10000 m^2

now , force = pressure/ area
force = 1500/(0.25/10000)
force = 1500×10000/0.25
force = 15000000/(25/100)
force = 15000000×100/25
force = 60000000 N.
