Let p1 = a, So p2 = 2a(Because Given It is doubled)

Formula is P1V1 = P2V2

                      V2 = P1V1 * T2/T1 * P2

                            =  a * 22.4 * 273/273 * 2a

                     V2  =  11.2

The final Volume of the gas = 11.2.

Hope this helps!

V1= X

T1=273K =a

P1=760mm =n

V2 =?

T2 =273 +273 K =549 K =2a

P1=2n (as it is doubled )

V1 ×P1 /T1=V2×P2/T2

or, X×n/a=V2 ×2n /2a

or, X×n×2a/a×2n =V2

or, X=V2

or, V1 =V2.

THerefore the volume remains the same!

Hope this helps!
