The Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) in Spain is the reigning Political Party at present. Though Democracy prevails in Spain, the procedures are entirely "nondemocratic"— [A] One of Democracy's features is "Free and Fair Competition". Opposition parties in Spain were allowed to participate in the electoral competition, but they never managed to win, which thus contradicts the above feature. [B] Government employees had to attend PRI meetings. [C] Government school teachers had to sway parents to vote for PRI. [D] Media largely criticised the opposition parties and only focussed on the goodwill of PRI. [E] Polling booths were, sometimes, shifted to different places in the last minute. so that people couldn't cast their vote. [F] PRI spent large sums of money in the campaign for its candidates.
