let the price of 3 textbooks be 3x.
then,the price of 2 notebooks is 2(x+10).
therefore,3x+2x+20=120
=>5x=100
=>x=20
the price of 3 textbooks is rs 60.
the price of 2 notebooks is rs 2(20+10)=rs 60.

Let The price of notebooks be x
and The price of textbook be y
then,The price of 2 notebooks and 3 textbook is rupees 120
= 2x+3y=120 -1equ
acc. to ques, a notebook costs rupees 10 more than the testbook.
therefore, x=10+y put in 1equ
so, 2(10+y)+3y = 120
20+2y+3y = 120
5y = 120-20
5y = 100
y = 20
since, x= 10+y
x =10+20
x =30
hence, cost of notebook is Rs 30 and cost of textbook is Rs 20
