The price of 6 chocolates and 3 biscuit packets together is 126/- . The price of 10 chocolates and 3 biscuit packets is 186/-. What is the price of a chocolate and the price of a biscuit packet?Find using algebra

Answer:

let the price of chocolate be x and biscuit be y

so ATQ, 6x+3y=126........(1)

and, 10x+3y=186 ...... (2)

By elimnation method, subtracting 1 from 2

= -4x= -60

x= 15

putting value of x in 1 we get

6×15+ 3y=126

3y=126-90

3y=36

y=12

so chocolate price is Rs 15 and biscuit is 12
