=> increased Price = P  + (20/100)P  = 1.2P

Expense Increased  by 10 %

Consumption = 1.1CP/1.2P  =  11C/12

Consumption decreased by C - 11C/12  =  C/12

% decrease in consuption = ((C/12)/C ) * 100  = 8.33 %
