books for the school library. She could buy 80 books casting Rs 90 each from the local book

seller. There she approached to the publisher who offered her a 20% discount, Find the number

of copies of Mathematics books which she could buy from the publisher for the sanctioned

she could buy 80 books casting rs 90 each

therefore, total money= 80×90

=7200 rupees

now, she gets discount of 20%

Therefore , 20% of 7200

=7200×20/100

=1440 rupees

Therefore, now she has 1440 rupees more

if she spends 90 rupees for 1 book

what number of books would she get when she spends 1440 rupees

therefore, doing cross multiplication we get,

1400×1/90

=16 books
