the probability of a student's getting A,B,C and D grade are 0.35,0.25,0.15 and 0.5 respectively. find the probability of getting
1)atmost C grade
2) at least B grade

Given Probability that students getting A grade = 0.35.
Probability that students getting B grade = 0.25
Probability that students getting C grade = 0.15
Probability that students getting D grade = 0.5.
(1) The Probability that getting Atmost C grade
= P(C) + P(D)
= 0.15 + 0.5
= 0.65.
Therefore the required probability = 0.65.
(2) The probability of getting At least B grade:
P(B) + P(A)
= 0.25 + 0.35
= 0.6.
Therefore the required probability = 0.6.
Hope this helps!
