Good at spelling and punctuation.
A proofreader checks any text which will be shared with the public whether it is for online blogging, for books, for academic purposes, etc., so to become good proofreader a person should have a few skills:
1) He should be good with spelling.
2) He should know where to use punctuation.
3) He should be good at the required language.
4) He should be good at identifying the wrong formatting.
Without these skills, a person cannot become a good proofreader.
