The story 'hunger' conveys the idea that hunger has no name ,address or profession. One who is poor and hungry is only concerned with earning some money somehow to satisfy his hunger. He is not bothered about what is going on in the government circles,or what policy is being made to ameliorate the lots of persons like him.Rizwan,a would -be journalist belonging to an almost starving family, interviews an old rag-seller who shows no enthusiasm for the interview and lost all hope of any hope in his life and he tells that his forefathers laboured and died of hunger and so will his son.He has no address to give Rizwan and if he does not submit interviews with five people along with their names and address he will lose his job and he cannot think of losing the job because his is on the verge of starvation.By this we can know kasim and rizwan are so poor that they worried only about their survival and want to stop their hunger pangs.
