Let one integer be 'x' and

second integer be 'y'

Acc. the question:

#x*y= - 144........ (1)

#x+y= - 7

So x= -7-y

Putting the value of x in equation 1

-7-y(y)= - 144

-7y-y whole square+144=0

Now using middle term splitting we can find the value of y and then the value of x

Hape it is helpfull....

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the 2 integer be x and y

X+y = -7

X = -7-y

X = -(7+y)

X. Y = -144

-(7+y)(y) = -144

-7y-y² = -144

Y²+7Y-144 = 0

Y²+ 16y-9y-144 = 0

Y(y+16) - 9(y+16) = 0

Y-9=0 , y+16 = 0

Y=9 , y = -16

If y = 9 , then x = -(7+y)

= -(7+9) = -16

If y=-16 , x = -(7+y)

= -(7-16) = 9

Hope it goes
