Let us take the smallest number as x. Then the next consecutive positive integer will be x+2, then x+4 and then x+6.

(x)x(x+2)x(x+4)x(x+6)=840

=4x=840-2-4-6

=4x=828

=x=828/4=207

So the largest number will be x+6=207+6= 213

vrushabh61: bro but after multiplying all x how do we got 4x
raghav805701: look we open the bracket and then take all the x to one side of the equation and 2,4 and 6 to the other side of the = sign. so (x)x(x)x(x)x(x) will equal to 4x as x is multiplied 4 times to itself.
