ANSWER

The product of a monomial and another minomial is always a monomial.

EXPLANATION

A polynomial that only has one term is known as a monomial. examples of monomial: 2, 2x, 3dfc², a²b²c, 2ab, ba etc.

[ A polynomial with two terms is known as a binomial.

A polynomial with three terms is known as a trinomial ]

Let's just multiply two monomial and see what the product is:

2a × 4ab = 8a²b

4ba × b = 4b²a

5c × 6xyz = 30xyzc

as × 3s² = 3as³

We can see that product of two monomial is always a monomial. We can try more cases, but the result is always the same.

Note that the same thing may not be applicable for subtract, addition etc

We can try the same thing to find product of two binomial, trinomial, one binomial and monomial etc.
