Hi ,

Set of whole numbers = { 0, 1, 2, 3 , 4 ,

5 , ......}

Non - zero whole numbers are 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 ,6 , .....

Now take some example which follow the above given rule :

i ) whole number = 5

Its successor =6

Product = 5 × 6 = 30 (even number)

2) whole number = 20

Its successor = 21

Their product = 20 × 21 = 410 (even number )

We can conclude that product of any non zero whole number and its successor is always even number.

Option A is correct.

Or

Tip :
____

Answer:

An even number

Step-by-step explanation:

whole numbers are :- {0,1,2,3,4 ,5...........}

and now in this question they ask

Non-zero whole numbers are { 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9...........}

now we can take any number

we can take 2

2 and it's successor is 2+1=3 now we have to find their product is 2×3 = 6

now 6 is an even number

so now the answer is

it is an even number

if you are not think this is an correct answer let again take another example

6 and it's successor is 7 now their product is 6×7 = 42 it is also it is also a even number hole it is helpful

thank you
