Smallest prime no.= 2

Smallest composite no. = 4

HCF (2,4) = 2
LCM(2,4) =4

HCF × LCM = 2×4
= 8

OR

Using formula ,

HCF × LCM = product of two numbers
HCf × LCM = 2×4 =8
